Tamsyn Alfino

Tamsyn holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Cape Town and
an additional certification as a practitioner of Brain Working Recursive Therapy (BWRT) and
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

She’s been a qualified and experienced Clinical Social Worker for more than 15 years and has
practised in various fields during that time. Her career highlights include serving as part of an
amazing child protection team in Guildford Surrey (UK), working alongside some of the most
gifted medical professionals whilst based at Groote Schuur Hospital and having the privilege of
fulfilling the School Counsellor role at both Wynberg Girls Junior School and Wynberg Boys
Junior School respectively.

Tamsyn runs a private practice that is conveniently located on the Main Road between Bergvliet
and Heathfield – working with children, teens and adults. She is also able to offer online
sessions to clients residing outside of the Southern Suburbs / Western Cape / South Africa.
