Nisi Cohen

Nisi is a Speech – Language Pathologist with over ten years of experience supporting children with ADHD, Dyslexia, Apraxia, and Autism. She is certified as a Multi-Sensory Therapeutic Environment Practitioner and Kids’ Yoga instructor, and she believes in using an integrative approach to help children overcome learning and communication barriers. In 2024, Nisi founded Nova Co—an online resource hub for parents. Her mission is to empower parents with knowledge and tools to help their neurodivergent children thrive.

In April 2024, she published her first children’s book, called ‘Regulate with Kate’. It’s a rhyming picture book for kids aged 5-10 years, with tips for enhancing nervous system regulation, confidence and resilience. The concepts and strategies in the book are described in a tangible, simple and fun way, to appeal to young readers and empower them with essential social-emotional skills.

Passionate about neuroscience and child development, Nisi is currently pursuing an MSc in Child Health (Neurodevelopment) at Wits University.
